Hard to evaluate. We were friendly, the accommodation was clean and tidy, we slept well in our beds. From the room one arrives at a floor balcony, which one shares with other guests. The double room with breakfast cost 50, - €; the price / performance ratio seemed to us consistent. Because: in this business has not been invested since the sixties. Shower and toilet were in the corridor and had to be shared with other guests. The installation and equipment corresponded to the o.a. Time. After all, there was a sink in the room. The room itself was very narrow. There is no cooking in the associated restaurant - except on Sundays and public holidays and for companies. The breakfast was very simple (cold cuts, butter, jam from packs) but we were full. In the kitchen one tried to cook the breakfast egg as desired. The hotel dreams of its past greatness when it was artist's residence and u.a. Wassilij Kandinsky accommodated. By the way, it seems that the whole place Kallmünz to go.

Nice beer garden. From 12:59 there was unfortunately no more lunch (for whatever reason - that was not explained).

Sharp operations

The duck breast is just delicious and the other dishes are certainly not bad either. There is an idyllic beer garden directly on the Vils below the castle hill.
